Woolies Release Mac N Cheese Balls and Cheeseburger Spring Rolls For Our Souls
And our bellies.
When it comes to finger food there is a clear hierarchy with parties pies firmly at the bottom and chicken strips and mini quiches tied for first place.
But this hierarchy is about to get flipped all sorts of ways because Woolworths have changed the game by launching two new starters: macaroni cheese balls and cheeseburger flavoured spring rolls.
The Mac N Cheese balls are filled with cheddar, mozzarella and parmesan. And the burger rolls (sounds appetising, doesn’t it?) have beef mince, tasty cheese, pickles, ketchup and a tangy mustard sauce.
They’re MSG free which basically means they’re healthy. Okay, not really. But do we care?
Catch up on the latest Fitzy & Wippa podcast:
These little bites of heaven in a box are $5 a pack. Honestly, they could be worth $100 and we’d probably still give them a try.
And we’re not the only ones loving these treats. A post made in the Addicted To Bargains Facebook group went OFF with people praising/salivating at/heaving breathing over the starters.
“Spring rolls are amazing!” one person commented.
“I’m so full but omg,” another commented.
Then one genius suggested: “The two combined.... oh my.”
We’re not opposed.
