Supermarkets Have Slashed Easter Chocolate Prices ALREADY

1 min read

Go! Go! Go!

In a shocking turn of events, major supermarkets are putting Easter egg prices on the chopping block BEFORE the start of the long weekend.

Which is awesome for those of us who normally wait for the post-Easter sales to stock up/always forget to bring something to the Easter BBQ.

Yes! Both Coles and Woolworths are here to help you build up your bunny stash before many shops close their doors and restrict trading for the public holiday.

And it’s not only Easter-themed choccy that’s being sold for cheap - many chocolate products, including top-of-the-line treats, are going on sale.

One Facebook user managed to find a 1kg Lindt bunny down from $80 to $60, while others are spotting faves like Toblerone and Ferrero Rocher collections down to half price.

Woolies has backed up the sightings, saying they’re selling plenty of chocolate goodies at half price, including specials for Cadbury Humpty or Freddo gift boxes down to $5.

Not to be outdone, Coles is also having a price blitz that includes halving the cost of Lindt products like the Maxi Carrot, which has been reduced to $15, and mini eggs down to $10.

You can even grab the classic Lindt bunny for a measly $2.

(Let’s face it, you’re not just gonna buy one. And that’s okay!)

PSA: All Woolies and Coles stores will be closed on Good Friday but open for the majority of Sunday, and trading hours will return to normal by Tuesday.
