No Grinches allowed.

Well, well, well. Look who's no longer getting shade for their festive cheer?

Us, that's who.

All those Scrooges who poo-pooed us for cracking out the tinsel "Too early" and saying "Mariah Carey's Christmas isn't for year 'round" and "Please, I'm begging you, stop," can suck it.

'Cause science says decorating for Christmas makes you happier.

Psychoanalyst Steve McKeown told the UK's Unilad that humans like to associate with things that make us happy and that those old xmas decos? They get a big TICK for associating strongly with the carefree days of our youth.

"Decorations are simply an anchor or pathway to those old childhood magical emotions of excitement. So putting up those Christmas decorations early extends the excitement," he explained.

Psychotherapist Amy Molin agreed, telling Unilad that "nostalgia helps link people to their personal past", "understand their identity", and feel more connected with other individuals.

Take that haters.
