Nike Release Nintendo 64 Collab That'll Hit You Right In The Childhood

1 min read

Sometimes in life, you see something and need it.

Doesn't matter what it takes or how much it costs, that item will make your life a million times better.

And that's precisely how we felt about the Nike x Nintendo 64 collab.

The Nike Air Max 97 'Nintendo 64' kicks - which were originally released in 1996/97 btw - were introduced to the world with a $170USD price tag and, if we're honest, much aplomb:

Nintendo Life report the grey on the shoe as symbolising the system's original controller with touches of green, blue, red and yellow harkening back to Nintendo 64's logo. On the tongue, there are three black dots representing the controller inputs, along with a "POWER" and "RESET" button.

The shoe will be released later this year although it's unknown how many will hit Aussie shores.

It looks like it's going to a big years for crossover sneakers, with Reebok jazzing up wither Instapump Fury Range to celebrate Toy Story 4.

It doesn't matter if you opt for the Buzz/Woody sneaks or invest in the N64s, either way, you're laughin'.
