Laura Mercier Products Are Returning To Australia And This Is Not A Drill

1 min read

All our flawless, dewy dreams have come true.

When Laura Mercier products (aka the greatest cult make-up brand EVER) were pulled from Australian shelves last year we were NOT. HAPPY. JAN.

It’s been hard enough getting Sephora to open up shop all the way Down Under, let alone make-up artist and celebrity-endorsed brands like Tarte and our all-time fave Laura Mercier into our stores.

So when the US brand announced an exit from Australia last year the decision cut us all deep.

We get it. Australia’s super far away from pretty much everything. But just because we share our homes with dangerous creepy crawlies does not make us animals.

Do you know how hard it is to find a foundation that won’t run off your face in 30+ temperatures, or a setting powder with enough oomph to be able to withstand our tropical strength humidity?

We deserve A-grade make-up.

We deserve a flawless glow.

The beauty Gods evidently heard our cries over severely limited kits and oily T-zones and thank heavens they delivered. Mecca announced last week that the cult brand will launch at Mecca Cosmetica and Mexxa Maxima stores and online from February 26, with a thick AF range of stock to meet all our barely-there makeup needs.

We’re talking all your favourite products, including their don’t-bother-to-try-anything-else Tinted Moisturiser, six versions of the groundbreaking Foundation Primer, Face Illuminator, Hidden Gems Eyeshadow Palette and Flawless Fusion Ultra-Longwear Foundation and more.

We're not making any plans next weekend so we can do a massive clean-out of our icky dried mascaras and goopy foundations; it's time to re-stock.
