There's A Lord Of The Rings Marathon Happening At Your Local Cinema, You're Welcome
Grab your Elven cloaks.
Is there anything better than a movie marathon when you're hungover on a Sunday?
No, there isn't. You know that, I know that, and Australia's Palace Cinemas know that.
That's why they're setting up The Lord of the Rings trilogy for you to binge on (with meal breaks, of course) next Sunday, 8 September.
But these will not be standard viewings of The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers and The Return of the King.
There’ll be an extra THREE HOURS worth of LOTR narrative footage.
Palace will screen the extended director’s cuts of all three movies in the epic saga, just like the DVD (lol, remember DVDs?)
Get in quick though because it's only happening for the one day, and if you rock up on a different day YOU SHALL NOT PASS (I really wanted to work that in somewhere).
Turns out there’s some good in this world, Mr Frodo… and it’s worth fighting for.
WHEN: Sunday, 8 September:
WHERE: Palace Cinema Paradiso, Palace Electric, Palace James Street, Chauvel Cinema, Palace Byron and Palace Balwyn from 10am until the last credit rolls.
WHAT: 10:00 am - The Fellowship of the Ring
2:10 pm - The Two Towers
6:30 pm - Return of the King
20min intervals between sessions
And remember, all we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us, and we decide to binge LOTR.
