It happened while Bardot was on Burkes Backyard

It has just been a couple days since reports surfaced about Aussie TV personality, Don Burke being a “psychotic bully”, a “misogynist” and a “sexual predator”.

On the ARIA Awards red carpet, Sophie Monk spoke about her experience whilst filming on the popular 90s gardening show - Burke’s Backyard.

Monk spoke to Be on the ARIAs Red Carpet about the segment the Bardot girls did on Burkes show over a decade ago:

"I don’t even know what to say.

"No nothing happened, I was just in my backyard gardening and that’s about all I could say.”

There was a serenading from Monk to Burke with her hands on his neck.

The 70-year-old television presenter sat down with A Current Affair’s Tracey Grimshaw to share his side of the allegations.

As many as 50 women during his time on Burke’s Backyard in the '80s and '90s, the ABC and Fairfax have shared stories about their experiences with Burke.

Two women have alleged that Burke groped their breasts, one claimed that he put his hand down her shirt and an actress has said he asked her to audition for his show topless.
