Science Says You Should Be Eating More Cheese
Well, we won't disa-brie with that.
Order a stack of grazing platters for this weekend because science says we should be eating more cheese.
That's right, cheese is actually gouda for you.
The Sun reports researchers in China have found that eating 40 grams of cheese a day could slash your chances of developing heart disease by 14 per cent. Plus, a British study from earlier this year found that almost one million people saw no increased risk with eating cheese regularly.
We know it's a bit of a yo-yo when it comes to research telling us what's good and bad for us. But if someone's telling me that cheese is good for me, I'm taking their advice because cheese is GRATE. Alright, I'll stop.
Kidspot reports the research findings revealed that although cheese contains saturated fatty acids it also has a number of potentially beneficial nutrients.
“It’s unclear how long-term consumption affects the development of cardiovascular disease. This study suggests an inverse association between cheese and health."
