PSA: Game Of Thrones Whiskey Is A Thing And You Can Try It

2 min read

And it's at a VIKING themed restaurant.

In case you missed it, Game Of Thrones whiskey is a thing.

The range is cool as hell, with seven bottles matched to each of the famous family houses and an extra black bottle for the Night’s Watch.

Not only do the bottles match the GoT houses, but the FLAVOUR of each whiskey has been carefully crafted to reflect different traits of each house.

For example, the Lannister Lagavulin nine-year-old whiskey is “rich” in flavour just like its namesake. It also tastes SMOKEY (like firewood) which is super cool.

It makes you feel like you need to put on some armour, a fur coat and drink it through a horn.

And you can. Well, kinda. ‘Cause viking-themed restaurant Mjølner will be hosting Game of Thrones Single Malt Scotch Whisky Collection tasting experiences in its Sydney and Melbourne restaurants.

Which is a fancy way of saying A REALLY COOL RESTAURANT IS GIVING YOU THE CHANCE TO TASTE EVERY SINGLE WHISKEY IN THE COLLECTION.

The events are on Sunday 14th April and will run for two hours.

They will also feed you. And by feed you we mean there’ll be a mouth-watering selection of fancy (and yummy) sliced meats and cheese.

So you can sip on House Targaryen/Baratheon/Tully/Greyjoy/Lannister/Stark/Night’s Watch whiskey and eat cheese and mingle and fully embrace your inner adult.

It's just insanely cool.

BYO armour and fur coat.

Tickets start from $80 and will be available from 12pm, Thursday 4th April via mjolner.com.au, limited availability applies.

The Game of Thrones Collection Single Malt Scotch Whisky Collection is available from liquor stores nationwide now.
