Meghan Markle And Prince Harry Welcome Baby Boy

The Royal Baby is here!

It’s official: the royal baby has been born!

Early this morning, the Sussex Royal Instagram account that Meghan has given birth to a healthy baby boy weighing in at 7 pounds and 3 ounces (3.2 kilograms).

A beaming Prince Harry then appeared to say they were "absolutely thrilled" and “over the moon” as he thanked the public for their support during Meghan’s pregnancy.

He said mum baby were doing "incredibly well", adding that they were still thinking about names for the bub.

"It's been the most amazing experience I could ever imagine. How any woman does what they do is beyond comprehension. But, we’re both absolutely thrilled. And so grateful to all the love and support from everybody out there. It’s been amazing." 

As for when the couple will introduce their son to the world, Harry added: "For us, I think we’ll be seeing you guys in probably in two days time, as planned, as a family... so everyone can see the baby."

The baby boy is seventh in line to the throne, behind the Prince of Wales, the Duke of Cambridge, his children and Prince Harry.
