Krispy Kreme's New Throwback Donut Range Will Have Your Tastebuds Partying Like It’s 1996

2 min read

Spoiler: there’s a fairy bread donut.

We’ve never met a doughnut we didn’t like.

But we HAVE met doughnuts we like a lot more than others. We’d even say love.

And Krispy Kreme doughnuts take that title.

We L-O-V-E ourselves an Original Glazed melt-in-your-mouth what dreams are made of doughnut. Actually, we L-O-V-E ourselves a whole box of Original Glazed doughnuts and we’re not ashamed to admit it.

We didn't think it was possible to love a doughnut more.

Until today.

Krispy Kreme has announced their new Throwback Party range aaaand we’re officially in heaven.

The limited-edition range includes four new flavours that we need ASAP.

Fairy Bread: white choc truffle, hundreds and thousands & a swirl of buttercream on top.

Is it acceptable as an adult to lick off all the hundreds-and-thousands first?

Don’t answer that.

Finger Bun: KK’s signature Original Glazed doughnut hand-dipped in a delicious strawberry flavoured icing and finished with desicated coconut.

Bakers Delight, eat your heart out!

Cookie Dough: another Original Glazed doughnut hybrid featuring a swirl of choc chip cookie dough in the centre. Oh and a drizzle of milk choc ganache.

Brownie Batter: a doughnut filled with rich choc crème and ground choc-crumb brownie batter then dipped in dark choc ganache with choc fudge brownie pieces and ground choc crumb on top.

Never enough chocolate. Never.

The range is available from Tuesday 23 April until Monday 29 May 2019.

How many boxes of doughnuts do you reckon we can eat in that time?

Throwback Party is available in-store for a limited time only at Krispy Kreme stores (NSW, VIC, QLD, WA only), online delivery and 7-Eleven stores nationally from Tuesday 30 April.
