Bourke Street rampage

He's been found guilty of murdering six people and injuring 27 others in Melbourne's CBD last year.

James Gargasoulas has been found guilty of murdering six pedestrians and injuring another 27 after speeding along a footpath in Melbourne's CBD on January 20 2017.

The ABC reports it took just 57 minutes for the jury to return the verdict, ending the trial that went for less than a week.

The 28-year-old drove at more than 60km per hour and didn't even stop after hitting a pram, which became lodged in the car's windscreen.

ABC also reports witnesses spoke of how composed Gargasoulas was as he drove down the footpath with both hands on the wheel.
