This Dude Tricked Influencers Into Promoting Gravel
He told them it was from the moon.
Josh Pieters is a YouTuber with almost one million subscribers and certified (not really) prank man.
The Britt recently posted a YouTube video titled ‘I Tricked Influencers Into Promoting Gravel’ which - funnily - is exactly what he explains in the 10-minute clip uploaded to his channel.
Josh - let’s call him Genius, from here on - bought a bag of gravel from a local hardware store and packaged it in influencer-worthy boxes complete with a fake letter from the National Space Centre.
The letter told the influencers that they were the proud owner of a piece of the moon.
Yep, Genius tricked a bunch of social media influencers into believing they had been gifted a moon rock to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the moon landing.
The influencers then did what influencers do best and took to their socials to share the news, with some getting very very (hilariously) excited.
“This is the coolest thing I've ever received in my life… this is my life now,” fitness influencer and business owner Louise Thompson gushed.
There was just lots of shock, squealing and talk about how “cool” the ‘moon rock’ is.
Check out the full video below. Warning - you might pee yourself from laughter.
The work of a true genius. We applaud you, sir.
