Dog The Bounty Hunter Star Beth Chapman Dead At 51
Reality TV star Beth Chapman has lost her battle with cancer, aged 51.
The Dog the Bounty Hunter regular passed away on Wednesday at a Honolulu, Hawaii hospital, less than a week after she was placed in a medically-induced coma.
Her husband, Duane Chapman, has confirmed the sad news via Twitter, writing: "It's 5.32 in Hawaii, this is the time she would wake up to go hike Koko Head Mountain. Only today, she hiked the stairway to heaven. We all love you, Beth. See you on the other side."
He previously issued a statement to Hawaii News Now on Saturday and asked fans to "pray for Beth".
She announced she had been diagnosed with Stage 2 throat cancer in September, 2017, but beat the disease. The cancer returned late last year and spread to her lungs.
Beth often assisted her husband as he brought fugitives to justice on the hit bounty hunter show. The couple, who wed in 2006, was filming a new show, Dog's Most Wanted, when she fell ill.
