Cya in Italy!

You’re probably reading this to check that we’re legit.

Or maybe you think we’ve lost our minds. And you're checking in to see if we’re okay.

WELL DO WE HAVE NEWS FOR YOU:

WE ARE LEGIT AND WE ARE MORE THAN OKAY BECAUSE THIS IS NOT A JOKE.

Scoot has just announced its 'Deal of the Decade' which includes one-way flights to Europe for $299.

With return trips for the same price, you can travel to Europe for UNDER $600, which is INSANE.

That’s half of what we would normally pay for flights.

Athens is pretty central to Europe so if you add on a cheap $35 RyanAir ticket you can travel to other cities (hello London, Rome and Berlin) for under $700.

UNDER $700.

SERIOUSLY WE ARE NOT OKAY!

The $299 fares will get you to from Perth to Athens, but are only available for select dates between now and May.

Flights from Sydney, Melbourne and the Gold Coat to Athens start at $309 which are still totally okay with because it’s still totally cheap.

No, you’re not dreaming.

While Athens is the standout fare, Scoot is also spruiking cheap flights to Asia.

Want to go to Singapore? You only need $119.

Flights to Japan start from $209.,

Go to Thailand from $149, Vietnam from $159, Bali from $149 and Hong Kong from $189.

Or if you’re feeling VERY reckless (read: inspired) why not book a holiday to Europe AND Asia.

It’s okay, we give you permission.

There is a slight catch (because when isn’t there): the trips don’t include checked luggage or food.

But they DO include 10kg carry-on luggage, so props to you if you can fit your whole life in one little suitcase.

If not you’ll have to pay for some more bags. But the silver lining is the trip will STILL be cheaper than normal so paying for luggage shouldn’t be a big deal.

The Deal of the Decade sale is on until 2.59am, February 28.
