Jane Scandizzo of Yummy Mummies has revealed she suffers from a serious condition that nearly stopped her being able to fall pregnant.

The 34-year-old told TV Week that she was bedridden for 11 months while suffering from chronic fatigue syndrome.

“Nothing was happening and I was just so depressed. It's just like this fear inside me. I was like, 'What if I can't have children?' It absolutely killed me.

“I got to a point where I didn't care about having a baby anymore. I just wanted my health back.”

Jane said her health improved - to the point she could conceive - thanks to yoga and meditation.

She recently told the Herald Sun that her hairdresser hubby Joey Scandizzo hurriedly styled her hair while she was in labour with their first son, Jagger - so she could have nice hair for the birth.

“My husband was blow-waving my hair and there was a contraction coming, and so he'd stop, then start again.

“And then I told him, 'You have to stop, they're two minutes apart, honey, I have to go to the hospital,' and he said, 'Let me finish the front from your hair,’… He just wanted me to look good in the photos.”
