You Defs Missed This Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air Reference The Aladdin Trailer

"Y’all seen my palace?"

The latest Aladdin trailer revealed a whole new world for the live-action remake and thank genie for that - because let's face it, that first one was weird AF.

We've watched the better trailer at least 20 times now and we've just noticed a Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air reference you might have missed.

Yes, the Fresh Prince returns and it's perfect.

While The Genie and Aladdin are relaxing on the sands of Agrabah, Aladdin asks to be turned into a prince to impress Princess Jasmine and, as a writer, this was just too good of an opportunity to resist.

The Genie replies with a wave of his hand:

"There’s a lot of grey area in ‘Make me a prince.’

"I could just make you a prince."

Smith waves his hand and a small figure appears in the distance wearing the fluro pink and green prince attire worn by his character from the ‘90s TV show.

Then the ‘90s prince yells:

"Y’all seen my palace?"

We can safely assume he's referring to Uncle Phil’s Bel-Air mansion.

It comes after fans slammed the teaser trailer with some revealing they were scared of Will Smith as The Genie.

The live-action remake stars Mena Massoud as Aladdin, Naomi Scott as Jasmine and Marwan Kenzari as Jafar. It will hit Aussie cinemas on 23 May, 2019.
