Toy Story Lead Actor Will Be Demanding Another Sequel

"I don't want this to end like this..."

Tim Allen isn't ready to give up his iconic role as Buzz Lightyear in the Toy Story movies just yet.

The 66-year-old first voiced the Space Ranger superhero toy in the first instalment of the hit Pixar franchise back in 1995, and has reprised the role once more for the upcoming Toy Story 4.

And speaking to Entertainment Tonight over the weekend, the star confessed he doesn't believe the latest movie will be the last.

"I'm telling you there will be more because I'm going to demand it.

"I don't want this to end like this, so me - I will say yeah. I will be a cry baby."

Allen's co-star Tom Hanks, who plays lead character Sheriff Woody, elaborated that, while there are no plans in motion at the minute, he "wouldn't be surprised" to see a sequel in the next couple of years.

"I think right now nobody thinks there's another place to go.

"But I would not be surprised if there is somebody two and a half years from now that is going to wake up one morning and say, 'Hey what if we?' And next thing we know we might be called into Stage D at Disney Studios and start all over."

Toy Story 4 hits theatres from 19 June.
