Third Fantastic Beasts Film Now Has An Official Release Date

Time to get ourselves a Time Turner.

There are lots of fantastic beasts in the world of Harry Potter. We might not know where to find them, but we do know WHEN.

Okay, really bad segue, but what we’re trying to say is that we know the official release date for the third Fantastic Beasts Film:

12 November, 2021.

I know what you’re thinking: “That’s too far away!” And yeah, it is.

Especially when you remember the last movie left us on a massive cliffhanger.

We’re right with you wallowing in pain.

Warner Bros. Pictures is fully aware of how far away the film’s release is. Mainly because they made the decision on purpose.

Cool.

“We all believe this release date will give the filmmakers time and space to allow their artistry to truly flourish and deliver the best possible film to our fans,” said Toby Emmerich, Chairman of Warner Bros. Pictures Group.

Yeah, nah.

We’ve done some quick maths (thanks Google) and have devised a plan to help you out.

There are eight Harry Potter films. That’s a total of 1,179 minutes of viewing.

There are 525,600 minutes in a year.

Which means you can watch the entire Harry Potter series about 445 times in a year. So, about 800 times over the next two years.

Genius plan to keep you entertained, hey?

Okay, fine. You can just watch your favourite film on repeat for two years, six months and 12 days.

Or you could just get yourself a Time Turner and jump two years ahead to watch the movie.
