These Are The Rules Harry And Meghan Reportedly Make Their Neighbours Follow
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle honestly seem like a lovely couple.
Not that we know firsthand but they just seem nice, ya know? Mean couples don’t hold hands and smile in public.
But according to reports by the Daily Mail, the couple is a little more high maintenance than they seem.
The publication claimed that Harry and Meghan gave their neighbours a detailed list of how to act if they run into them. And it’s pretty full on.
The list says that neighbours shouldn’t approach or start a conversation with the couple, although they can reply with a “good morning” if spoken to first.
Neighbours also shouldn’t ask to see Archie or offer to babysit or pet their dogs (we take offence to this one, tbh).
According to reports by The Sun, locals are less than pleased by the demands.
“It would be funny if it wasn't so over the top,” one resident told the publication.
Another neighbour commented: “It's extraordinary. We've never heard anything like it. Everyone who lives on the estate works for the royals and knows how to behave respectfully.
“We aren't told how to behave around the Queen like this. She's very happy for people to greet her.”
However, Palace officials have said that neither Harry or Meghan or representatives from their household have given any such instructions to local residents.
A source told the Daily Mail that “A well-intentioned member of estate staff offered guidance at a community meeting. Neither the couple or their household made any such request.”
Royals are royals and we're don’t doubt that there are certain rules that need to be followed, but surely Megz and Hazza don’t mind people saying hello?
Hopefully they don’t mind people calling them Megz and Hazza either.
