There's a Meghan Markle musical coming and we're totes READY for it

Heck yes!

Remember when the internet dug up Meghan Markle's old resume yesterday?

Well it looks like she's gonna have to spend quite a few hours updating the ol' CV because there's a LOT of new things to add.

There's the whole getting married to Prince Harry thing, the having the royal baby thing, and being part of the Royal Fab Four thing as well.

Oh, and she's also getting a new musical based around her life.

According to The Telegraph, the BBC has announced a new production called The Sixth In Line to be King and I, which is a musical comedy about Meghan's life now that she's married to Harry and has a royal baby on the way.

Now before you all get glittery-eyed about the prospect of seeing an actress play an actress-turned-royal on the London stage alongside an all-star cast, full orchestra, and choreographed dance moves, we're have to warn you now this musical is a radio program, so don't expect a lavish production or anything.

The Telegraph reports:

"Radio 4’s 15 Minute Musical has turned its sights to the Duchess, with a “Rodgers and Hammerstein-inspired” comedy broadcast confirmed for the Christmas schedule.

It will see radio actors “look ahead to what promises to be an exciting 2019 for the happy royal couple as they expect their first child in the spring”, in what is described as an “inspired celebration of Meghan Markle’s life to date”.

It may not be a full-blown Broadway style musical, but hey, we'll so totally here for this!

Interestingly, the publication also reports that Kensington Palace weren't consulted on the musical, but we're pretty sure they'll totally love it.

As for when it will hit airwaves, the musical will air on New Year's Day.
