The Spice Girls Give Us What We Want (What We Really, Really Want) With Second Movie
All five women are on board.
Bloomin' hell, you guys.
If you're a '90s kiddo who is still low-key obsessed with everything from that era, we have quite the update for you.
The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that there is a second Spice Girls movie in the works at the moment - set for release in 2020.
The publication confirms that the project is being run by Paramount's Animation studio and that all five pop stars Melanie Brown (Scary), Emma Bunton (Baby), Melanie Chisholm (Sporty), Geri Halliwell (Ginger) and Victoria Beckham (Posh) have signed on. '
Apparently, the ladies are all "very involved" in the production, which will feature classic Spice tunes as well as a couple of new tracks.
We haven't been given much more information, but as HelloGiggles shares, there were whispers last year about an animated film featuring the Spice Girls as superhero alter-egos.
The update follows reports that fans have been left disappointed by sound issues at the long-awaited reunion tour for the band.
Anyway, in the meantime, here's a clip from the O.G film for your viewing pleasure:
