Neighbours star Olympia Valance has slammed Instagram after one of her sexy snaps was removed from the social media platform.

The 23-year-old actress posted a hefty caption after she realised the original shot was taken down.

The original image - which she has reposted - shows the actress some nice looking lingerie. Olympia explained that the photo had been removed because it didn't "meet @instagram guidelines"

This isn’t the first time Olympia has posted pics of her modelling work for lingerie company Gossard UK, but this was the first time Instagram had taken down the post.

Olympia defend herself against Instagram's strange rules, saying:

“I’ve read over those guidelines and I've failed to find one that I may have broken. This is the first time that this has happened to me and I'm still struggling to understand why it was taken down over so many of the other photos I see on Instagram every single day.”

It’s hard to disagree with the actress on this point.

There is nothing overtly sexual about the pic, frankly it just looks like a stunning ad for a bra.

To make matters worse, Instagram taking down the shot made Olympia feel bad about work she is actually very proud of.

It’s sort of heartbreaking to read, but she wrote:

“To have this happen to a photo of my body and my work has made me feel surprisingly low.

It's disappointing because this campaign is something that I am very proud of. I'm not posting photos like this for self gratification. I like that I can represent a different body type to my young fans.

I grew up when only tall and extremely thin body's were classified as beautiful.”

While she got emotional about the photo being taken down, she took a moment to remind herself that this is part of her work and nothing is going to stop her from doing that:

“There are so many elements that go into a photoshoot like this and I wanted to celebrate all the hard work that @gossarduk goes in creating beautiful lingerie, for all body types, day in and day out. I love everything that Gossard represents and stands for and I will continue to showcase that to the rest of the world.”

After the long post, her fans rallied around her showing support for being honest about how much she was hurt.

Valance isn’t the first Neighbours star to go cup against Instagram. Former Neighbours actress Caitlin Stasey hit back at Insta last week when she posted her latest nude pic.
