OITNB Star Slams Fellow Cast Members In A Series Of Intense Instagram Posts
“Not one cast member cares about me.”
The fourth and final season of Orange Is The New Black has just dropped and it should be a time for celebration.
But one cast member, Taryn Manning, doesn’t feel the same. Taryn took to her personal Instagram to share a series of posts with lengthy captions about the show, its cast and her general musings about the world.
And it’s pretty intense.
“This show hurt me more than anything has in my life and if this is what I have to do to push what I stand for I will,” the post said. “I have to speak out before anything happens to me. F*ck fame! This show hurt humans. You will never truly know but many were hurt!”
The post also claimed that Taryn's team had dropped her and ended by announcing that "Not one cast member cares about me. Just watch.”
Taryn's OITNB costar Lori Petty (AKA Lolly in OITNB) commented “Hey. I love you” along with some heart emojis, and Taryn responded:
"Thx bubs I know you do. And I love you. I am giving up everything to speak on how awful this career is and how awful we are treated. How I never knew if I was coming back yet I had seven optional seasons. How I didn’t even know how to plan my life, organize anything cause everything was a secret. Self serving bullsh*t, for whatever sick agenda. How some of the most dear characters were just not there anymore. My pals. F*ck this show. This show hurt me so bad.”
Did we mention it’s all very intense?
Anyway, Taryn has since deleted the posts and announced that her account was hacked.
