Nadia Bartel Hits Back At Trolls Following Split From Husband Jimmy

"You are obviously a really unhappy person."

Nadia Bartel has been quiet since news broke that her marriage to retired AFL star Jimmy Bartel has ended.

But now Nadia (née Coppolino) is hitting back after Instagram trolls poked at rumours her husband had moved on and implying that she could have saved her marriage if she had "a real job".

The relentless Instagram troll kicked off their rampage with:

"Hey @nadiabartel, just wondering if you will be catching @jetstaraustralia anytime soon or are you too concerned you might bump into one of Jimmy’s new flames," they wrote with several 'laughing emoji' faces.

"Oh well, don’t be too upset, at least he upgraded to somebody that has a real job & an actual personality....two things you may have to now obtain rather than living off being a WAG & blogging. Good luck!"

Nadia's followers - also known as 'kind-hearted, non-troll-type people' - jumped to defend her.

"What a cold-hearted, unnecessary and insensitive thing to say... Shame on you," wrote one user.

"That's a horrible thing to say. Why would you even write that? This is why people have breakdowns from bullying on social media."

When the troll added, that getting a "real job" might help Nadia's emotional state, the business woman, jumped in:

"Try writing from a real account. Don't hide. I have numerous real jobs."

Last week, The Herald Sun reported that the retired footballer was dating Melbourne socialite Lauren Mand and Nadia was "blindsided."

“I know I am in the public eye and people are interested, but it is a private matter and I ask for a bit of respect because obviously Nadia and the boys (are) involved," they report Jimmy as saying.
