Meghan Markle's dad caught in staged photo controversy

Well, if this isn't the news we never saw coming....

Reports are circulating today that Meghan Markle's dad, the humble bloke who lives the life of a near hermit, has orchestrated paparazzi pictures.

Thomas Markle has been caught on CCTV footage allegedly setting up staged photographs in the lead up to his daughter's marriage to Prince Harry.

The images, taken in an Internet cafe, appear to show Thomas doing some research ahead of the nuputals - similar to the viral images of him reading a book on England.

Sold to newspapers worldwide, the images sold for somewhere in the realm of $179,595AUD.

The revelation comes to little surprise to some who noticed the peculiar angle of the image - almost tilting the screen towards the camera, and Thomas away.

The staged photographs come despite Kensington Palace's warning to publishers to respect Mr Markle’s privacy.

The news also comes after Meghan's half brother reportedly begged for an invite to the wedding (despite publishing less than flattering information about the actress).

In the letter, published by InTouch, Markle writes:

"Meg I know that I’m not perfect, nor is anyone else in our family, as I’m sure you have read by now. But good, bad, or perfect, we’re the only family that you have.

“I’m sorry for venting my frustrations about [how] he should call it off, but I was disappointed and confused about not getting invited… I really only wish you the best.”

Emotional manipulation should be a skill on his resume TBH...

“It does hurt my feelings not getting invited to your wedding, along with the rest of the family. But it’s not too late to send me an invite along with your entire family.

“We should all be there to show our love and support on your wedding day because that’s what families do. Not to mention, how long it’s been since we all seen and have gotten together, that would be very nice.”

“I remember a loving, caring, amazing girl who had a great family growing up and I know you’re still that person inside. So whatever you decide is OK with me, maybe I’ll see you there, with all of us. “It can still be a royal wedding family reunion.”
