Meghan Markle lets her baby's due date slip in front of crowd
She also revealed they don't know the gender yet.
Meghan Markle has accidentally let her baby's due date slip while speaking with well-wishers in England.
The 37-year-old revealed her baby is due in late April while meeting locals in Birkenhead with Prince Harry.
The Duchess of Sussex also revealed she didn't know if she is having a boy or a girl because they want it to be a surprise.
Until now we'd never had any public confirmation about when Meghan's due, but many believed she was due in March due to the size of her bump.
Kim Thompson, a royal fan who met Meghan during the public appearance, told Daily Mail:
"She said she is six months pregnant and due at the end of April, beginning of May."
She also added:
"Another woman in the crowd joked that she was a trained midwife. Meghan said that one of her friends had [given birth] five weeks early and [the midwife] said the baby comes when they are ready.
"I said, as long as they are healthy, and Meghan agreed. Then she said, pointing to Harry, 'He's going to make a fantastic father'."
Meghan also told a young girl in the crowd she and Harry wanted the gender of the baby to be a surprise.
Kitty Dudley, a student from St Anne's Primary School said:
"Meghan came up to me and asked me how old I was and where I went to school. I could see her bump and I asked if she was having a boy or a girl and she said 'we don't know whether it's a boy or girl, we are keeping it as a surprise'."
Another member of the crowd asked the important question of how Meghan is actually able to cope walking in heels all day, to which the Duchess replied:
"One day at a time!"
One painful day at a time, no doubt!
