MAFS star Matt responds to Lauren's 'abducted by aliens' claim
There just isn't any other way to cut it: MAFS has been explosive this season.
There's been an affair, there's been an outrageous pink cowboy hat, there's been a Supre-like camo dress and last, but not least, Matt and Lauren.
Both voted to leave the series last Sunday but if you thought the drama was done and dusted, you'd be dead wrong.
Matt popped in to Nova's Fitzy & Wippa to clear up a few issues from the series including statements Lauren made about the "former virgin" claiming alien abduction.
“The big one though was her making some comment about you talking to aliens or being abducted. What was that? What did she say? You’d been abducted and your brain’s been altered or something?" Sarah asked.
"That was actually a point where I was trusting Lauren and opening up to her and I was telling her about a point in my life when I was my most depressed," Matt revealed.
"I used the metaphor that I felt like I was an alien. I felt like I couldn’t connect with anyone. I felt isolated and alone, like I was from a different species. That was how I was illustrating my depression. Little did I know that Lauren doesn’t know what a metaphor is.”
As for his time on the show? Matt explained he doesn't have any regrets about being on the series:
“No. There’s no regret about doing the show. There’s certainly regrettable actions and its very regrettable how certain people have behaved after the show… I’ve learned a lot about myself and my relationships.”
