Lizzo Didn't Win Any VMA Awards And The Internet Is Not Happy Jan

Who is judging these things?!

The 2019 Video Music Awards wrapped up today following a slew of FIRE peformances. Taylor opened, Normani debuted her solo track and Missy Elliot SLAYED her acceptance performance - she was honoured with the Video Vanguard Award - but it was Lizzo who really wowed.

Seriously:

Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande and Billie Eilish all won multiple awards (only Taylor was there in person; Billie recorded messages, no one knows where TF Ari was).

Ariana won four awards, including Artist of the Year and Song of the Summer for Boyfriend, Taylor won Video of the Year and Video For Good - for her acceptance anthem promo You Need to Calm Down.

Billie won three awards, collecting Best New Artist, Push Artist of the Year, and an award for Best Editing for her work behind the scenes on her Bad Guy video.

And Lizzo won nothing.

Zilch.

Which, look... if we're looking back at the year that was, Billie was obviously the bigger artist but DAMN guys.

Twitter in particular is incensed with tweet after tweet saying "Lizzo was robbed".
