Lady Gaga is reportedly engaged to silver fox, Christian Carino
The reported engagement comes a little over one year after Gaga called it quits with ex-fiancé Taylor Kinney.
We finally got to watch Lady Gaga’s Five Foot Two documentary, and she revealed plenty to her fans.
The New Yorker says the documentary follows Gaga’s transformation into vulnerability:
“Gaga repeats the idea that her most recent record, 'Joanne,' from 2016, was about vulnerability. We were seeing a different, less sly Gaga: no provocative getups, no purposeful misdirection.”
As much as she dived into her vulnerability and journey throughout the doco, there was one detail she missed out. Her blossoming relationship with CAA talent agent, Christian Carino.
Reports say that the duo is now engaged.
A source told Us Weekly that the pair “secretly got engaged” over the summer after Carino, 48, asked Gaga’s father for his permission.
However, according to the source, we can expect a long engagement as Gaga, 31, needs to focus on her health before jumping into any weddings.
According to W Magazine, the pair has been dating since January when they were spotted getting affectionate at a Kings of Leon concert.
There have been a few events since, however, for the most part, they have kept their relationship quiet.
“[They are] actually pretty serious. They’re both really happy. It works.” When Ryan Seacrest asked Gaga to spill the beans, she kept her mouth shut. "I don’t know," she responded. "You know I don’t talk about my love life, Ryan!"
The engagement comes over a year after Gaga’s break up with Taylor Kinney. Lady Gaga shared a beautiful statement when they parted ways.
"Taylor and I have always believed we are soulmates.
“Just like all couples, we have ups and downs, and we have been taking a break. We are both ambitious artists, hoping to work through long-distance and complicated schedules to continue the simple love we have always shared. Please root us on.
“We're just like everybody else and we really love each other."
