Lisa will appear alongside Carrie Bickmore, Waleed Aly and Peter Helliar on Thursday, February 1 as well as co-hosting with Waleed on Friday night.

While rumours have been rife lately that Lisa and Carrie are feuding due to the fact Wilkinson is reportedly set to earn more money than her co-host, the former Channel Nine star has said they're simply not true.

Speaking to, Wilkinson said she "couldn't believe it".

“I couldn’t believe [there were rumours] because this is complete fiction.

“Carrie can’t believe it, I can’t believe it.  “We refuse to engage in it, because it would only give it credibility and there is no truth to it. Carrie and I have been mates for years.

“We have a lot of close friends in common as well and for all of us it’s really disappointing that for some reason there’s a belief ... that two strong women can’t work together and support each other and enjoy working together.”

When it was first announced Lisa would be joining the team at Channel Ten, Carrie shared an Instagram photo with the caption:

“Nine’s loss is our gain here at Network Ten.

“An incredible woman — smart, funny, down to earth. We couldn’t be more excited.”

Wilkinson will host the show on Sundays, Thursdays and Fridays, flying in and out from her home in Sydney. She told

“In a normal week I’ll fly down first thing on a Thursday morning and catch the last flight out on a Friday.

“But there will be times that there will be things that I want to do in Melbourne on the Saturday and there will be times when I’ll be flying overseas to do interviews. I’ll probably come off air on a Sunday night and on a Monday I can fly to London and still be back by Thursday’s show.”
