Kim Kardashian Breaks Silence In Celebrity Photographer Nude Photo Scandal

“We cannot allow this type of behaviour to go unnoticed…”

Hollywood photographer Marcus Hyde has been thrust into the spotlight after a woman accused him of sexual misconduct.

Over the weekend, Los Angeles-based model Sunnaya shared alleged text exchanges with Marcus in which he offers her a free photoshoot if she agrees to pose naked.

The DMs on Instagram show Marcus asking Sunnaya to send him nude photos or he will charge her $2,000 for the shoot. The conversation then ended with Marcus saying:

"Find someone else. I'll keep shooting celebs."

Marcus has shot for the likes of Kim Kardashian, Ariana Grande and Bella Thorne. Bella has yet to comment but Kim has spoken out on her Instagram saying she is “deeply shocked”:

“I have been reading all of the messages and stories from women regarding inappropriate and inexcusable behaviour of a photographer that I have worked with in the past,” Kardashian wrote on her Instagram story.

“My own experiences have always been professional, and I am deeply shocked, saddened and disappointed to learn that other women have had very different experiences.

“I stand in full support of every woman’s right to not be harassed, asked or pressured to do anything they are not comfortable with.

“We cannot allow this type of behaviour to go unnoticed, and I applaud those who speak out.”

Ariana Grande has not directly addressed the scandal, but she did advise models against tolerating similar behaviour on her Instagram Stories:

"dear models/artists in LA/anywhere, I have just read some shocking and really heartbreaking stories," she wrote in her lengthy message.

"I hate that this is a conversation. but. please do not shoot with photographers who make you uncomfortable or make you feel like you need to take your clothing off if you don't want to.

"if you want to, sick. but if you don't, please don't. if they tell you you have to pay more money if you're clothed that's f**ked and I'm sorry that has happened to you. I promise there are so many respectful, nice, talented photographers out there."

At least three women have alleged that Marcus has sexually assaulted them during photoshoots, or published nude photos without their consent. They have sent their stories to Sunnaya via Instagram:
