Khloe Kardashian Defends Tristan Thompson After Cheating Scandal
"You're so very sweet."
The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star split from the basketball player for the second time last month, amid rumours suggesting he had been unfaithful with Jordyn Woods, the best friend of Khloe's half-sister Kylie Jenner.
The relationship drama emerged less than a year after the Cleveland Cavaliers athlete was caught up in another cheating controversy, shortly before the birth of the former couple's daughter, True.
Even though Khloe and Tristan are no longer together, the reality TV regular is refusing to let fans bad-mouth him as a dad, after it was claimed that he hasn't been spending much time with their 11-month-old girl in recent weeks.
Khloe took to Twitter on Saturday (16Mar19) to set the record straight after one follower declared all True needs is her mother.
"@khloekardashian hunny (sic) keep raising your daughter the best way you know how," the fan wrote. "All she needs is her mom. You're doing great. Keep ya head up (sic)."
"Thank you love! You're so very sweet," she replied, before standing up for Tristan and vowing to keep True's best interests in mind as they work towards co-parenting as exes. "But he is a good dad to her. My sweet and special baby True will NEVER be put in the middle of him and I. I can promise that."
Khloe's words of support for Tristan emerged hours before her best friend Malika Haqq shared an update on how her best friend has been coping in light of her public break-up.
"Khloe is good," Malika told U.S. news show Entertainment Tonight at the Daily Front Row's 5th Annual Fashion Los Angeles Awards on Sunday night. "She's doing really good."
