Katy Perry and Taylor Swift Officially End Their Feud In The Most Adorable Way

"Peace at last"

Well, folks, it looks like those 'Bad Blood' days are officially over for Katy Perry and Taylor Swift.

After her first olive branch (literally) in May, Katy Perry has kicked efforts at reconciliation up a notch, posting an image of cookies - emblazoned with a somewhat foreboding "peace at last" in red icing - to her instagram. After tagging Taylor she simply captioned, "feels good".

So, despite the chills from red-drippy writing, it feels promising? Homemade cookies = good, right?

Katy Perry's previous reconciliation effort - the literal olive branch - coincided with Taylor’s reputation tour.

“I just got back to my dressing room and found this actual olive branch. This… means so much to me,” Taylor said in a video posted via Instagram Story.

The pair have been feuding since at least 2014 with Taylor telling Rolling Stone that an artist - believed to be Katy - “did something so horrible” that the relationship was “straight-up enemies.”

“And it wasn’t even about a guy! It had to do with business," Taylor told the publication.

"She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour. She tried to hire a bunch of people out from under me. And I’m surprisingly non-confrontational — you would not believe how much I hate conflict. So now I have to avoid her. It’s awkward, and I don’t like it."

Popular opinion has always designated Katy as the "enemy" as the day after the story appeared online, Katy tweeted:

“Watch out for the Regina George in sheep’s clothing…” When she was later asked about the tweet, Perry said, “If somebody is trying to defame my character, you’re going to hear about it.”

All in all, we got a banger out of it so, and they appear to be happy now so, good results all 'round?
