"I left with my girlfriend..."

It was the most drama-filled wedding for Australia in 2018.

After months of murmurs, speculation, and wedding lists of who is going and who isn't, Karl Stefanovic and Jasmine Yarbrough have finally tied the knot in a big ceremony in Mexico.

The couple exchanged vows at the One&Only Chapel at Palmilla resort in El Cabos while surrounded by a massive party of nearly 200 guests.

But there were reportedly some important guests missing.

Former wife Cassandra Thorburn was quoted in magazine New Idea as saying their three children did not attended their father's ceremony.

Daily Mail Australia reports Thorburn claimed Jackson, Ava, and River, were not present when Stefanovic wed fashion designer Jasmine Yarbrough, despite being in Mexico with him.

The publication spoke to son Jackson about the kids attendance.

"I didn't go to the ceremony, I went to say congratulations [to Karl and Jasmine] after they'd all left the chapel but it was a lot later.

"My brother and sister didn't want to go, and I was not going to leave them on their own so I looked after them.

"I figure at their age they may not have an understanding of watching a parent get re-married. They might not understand it's just a parent moving on.

"I left with my girlfriend and they said it was because we were too drunk which is just stupid.

"We left because it was s**t."

Jackson also revealed to Daily Mail his whole experience "was alright" and he was "enjoyed the country" and did "not worry about the wedding."
