We are SO HAPPY to hear this!

After six weeks of radiotherapy, it seems Johnny Ruffo is well and truly on the mend!

The Home and Away star shared a picture of his surgery scars this week, contrasting his newly healed head with a shot of the scar just after his life-saving surgery.

The 29-year-old reassured fans, saying, “What a huge difference, now i just need my hair back”

Talking to Fitzy & Wippa in September, Johnny talked about how close he actually came to dying and his journey back to health, which sadly isn’t over yet.

“I spoke to the neurosurgeon that did the operation… he said to me look, you know, if you hadn’t come in when you did you would’ve died that night. You would’ve had a brain aneurism and not woken up at all.”

The 29-year-old revealed there was a 1 in 20 chance he’d die from the operation on his seven centimetre tumour, which could have been growing for as long as 10 years.
