No I’m not crying! There’s just something in my eye!

The cast of Game of Thrones has received a standing ovation at the 71st Emmy Awards in Los Angeles.

The fantasy drama leads the nominations this Emmy season, with 32 shots at nabbing a golden statue for its eighth and final season… so it's only fitting the cast received a grand send-off.

Alfie Allen (Theon Greyjoy), Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark), Maisie Williams (Arya Stark), Lena Headey (Cersei Lannister), Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister), Kit Harington (Jon Snow/Aegon Targaryen), Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen), Gwendoline Christie (Brienne of Tarth), Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister) and Carice Van Houten (Melisandre) all lined the stage on Sunday night to bid the dragon-filled series an epic farewell.

Maisie Williams (or shall we say The Night King slayer) thanked all the fans for watching over the years.

“As much as we wish the show would have gone on forever, our time had come. Now we have a chance to thank all of those who watched.”

The cast received their first standing ovation of the night, with many taking to Twitter to appreciate the reunion, and this super cute moment between Sophie and Kit:

All ten stars are up for awards, including Gwendoline Christie, Alfie Allen and Carice Van Houten, who made headlines earlier this year for nominating themselves.

Bend the knee, Emmys. Bend the knee.
