What do you think?

The first teaser for Ted Bundy film Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile (what a mouthful, hey) dropped this weekend, giving fans their first look at Zac Efron in the role of the infamous serial killer.

Efron shared the clip to Instagram writing:

"It’s here! Link to full teaser in bio #ExtremelyWickedShockinglyEvilAndVile"

In it, we see Efron as the narcissistic murderer, rapist and necrophile and Lily Collins in the role of Bundy's girlfriend, Liz Kloepfer.

The film also features the likes of John Malkovich, Kaya Scodelario, Angela Sarafyan and Jim Parsons.

Fans have been quick to applaud the casting for the film, pointing out the eerie resemblance between Efron and Bundy after watching the teaser.

But the response has been mixed. Many have also warned about the dangers of sexualising a man who violently murdered so many women.
