“What I reposted was not an attack on Oprah at all."

Everyone it currently team Oprah right now, except for one person, Seal.

After the Golden Globes phenomenon around Oprah, Seal reposted a picture of Harvey Weinstein and Oprah.

Seal appeared to be declaring the talk show queen an example of “sanctimonious Hollywood”.

“Oh I forgot, that's right.....you'd heard the rumours but you had no idea he was actually serially assaulting young stary-eyed actresses who in turn had no idea what they were getting into. My bad.”

Everyone thought this was a direct attack on Oprah. However Seal has come out saying this is not the case.

The Brit-born singer said he had an “enormous amount of respect for everything Oprah has achieved and contributed in her life.”

“What I reposted was not an attack on Oprah at all.

“She just happened to be the person photographed with the pig [Weinstein] in the picture.

“What I reposted was commentary on the hypocritical and double standard nature and behaviour of Hollywood.”

Seal also took aim at actress and Fox News commentator Stacey Dash, demanding that she “keep my name out of your mouth.”

“Do NOT retweet, requote anything I have said in order to reinforce your self-hating agenda. You live in the sunken place.

“Again, this was not an attack against Oprah - this was an observation of the toxic nature of Hollywood.”

The said picture is from 2014 where it shows Winfrey embracing and kissing Weinstein, and the pair were understood to be good friends with a professional relationship stretching back decades.
