Cardi B's back on Instagram with some HUGE news
"Ok so I’m back from retirement to announce..."
Well, she's back on the feed and we're thanking every Valentine's Day cupid for this glorious gift.
After a two-day hiatus, the rapper is back with a bang announcing new music with Bruno Mars:
"Ok so I’m back from retirement to announce I have a brand new song coming out Friday at midnight with @brunomars," she wrote alongside a photo with Bruno Mars. She added the hashtag, #twogrammywinningartist, a tribute to her fellow Grammy winner Mars and a subtle clapback at critics who felt as though Invasion of Privacy didn't deserve the rap album of the year title.
The duo collaborated back in January 2018 on the smash hit, "Finesse (Remix)," which went 2x platinum.
It comes after Cardi B received a lot of criticism over social media for her Grammy win even from Ariana Grande.
The singer Tweeted five times with the now-deleted words “what”, “f*uck” “trash” “bullsh*t” and “literal bullsh*t”.
It’s suspected the criticism comes after Cardi B’s global hit record Invasion Of Privacy was selected over the posthumous nomination of Mac Miller’s Swimming. Grande and Miller dated for two years before his accidental overdose last September.
In true Cardi B fashion, she didn't let the haters do their thing without a fight:
