Brad Pitt Is Quitting Hollywood ‘Cause He Thinks He’s Too Old And Sorry What?
“... Overall it's a younger man’s game.”
Brad Pitt reckons he’s past his prime and we have FEELINGS.
Sure, he may not be the 18-year-old hunkaspunk cowboy that we fell in love with from Thelma And Louise.
But he is still an absolute daddy and you cannot convince us differently.
In an interview with GQ Australia, he threatened that he is ready to quit acting because it’s “a younger man’s game” and he dreads ending up "a dinosaur".
Firstly - Brad, honey, you are NOT old. You're 55, you're in your prime.
And secondly - acting is not something that comes with an age limit. We promise we’ll still be gushing over you as a silver fox for years to come.
The 55-year-old has preferred to flex new skills behind the camera rather than in front of it in recent years, with his main focus being on the six children he shares with Angelina Jolie.
"I'm behind the camera on the producing side and I enjoy that a lot," he explained to GQ.
When it comes to acting, "I keep doing less and less," he says.
"I really believe that overall it's a younger man’s game - not that there aren't substantial parts for older characters - I just feel, the game itself, it'll move on naturally. There will be a natural selection to it all.
"I could be a dinosaur and not even know it, man," he joked. "And the comet could be on the way."
This makes us so sad, Brad. We’re not ready to give up our life-long on-screen boyfriend just yet.
