Best Aussie ever, Chris Hemsworth, invited a hitchhiker to chopper to Byron Bay
And just took him along in the chopper like it's no big deal
This definitely proves that Chris Hemsworth is a good egg. Without a doubt.
Our favourite Aussie export flew into Brisbane airport with his personal trainer Luke Zocchi when they saw a hitchhiker wanting a lift to Byron Bay.
The pair picked up American musician Scott Hildebrand, but little did Scott know that Chris has a way cooler way of getting home to Byron than a three-hour drive down the M1.
Yeah, they made a quick "vehicle change", and that's when the penny dropped for Scott that Chris was a bit more than a friendly Aussie.
“They said, ‘we’re gonna make a quick stop and switch vehicles’, and at that point I was like, ‘oh, i can help pitch for gas’… and they’re like ‘you’re not gonna want to do that, it’ll be like four grand for that’," Scott told Nova Brisbane's Ash, Kip & Luttsy with Susie O'Neill.
"Then all of a sudden we pull up to the helipad… and they were like, ‘ever flown in a helicopter, Scotty?’"
"That was when I was like, ‘who are you guys?’"
Considering Scott said he had never hitchhiked before, we'd chalk this one up as a success.
