Bachelor reality index: episode 15
Tara is the new Nikki
The old Matty J can’t come to the phone right now. Why? Because he’s dead (to Bachelor viewers).
Gather round, people. Let’s talk about our heartbreak together.
Yes, it finally happened. Matty J dumped the best girl in Australia.
As if that wasn’t bad enough, Tara says she isn’t keen on being the next Bachelorette.
She’s told NW Magazine she’s worried being the Bachelorette would be too upsetting.
“You know, I was quite excited by the concept of it when I first heard that people wanted me to be the Bachelorette, but after seeing how my brother was edited, I don’t know it really upset me… I don’t know – I feel like you’re trusting other people to find you the love of your life, and if they’ve done that to my brother, you know, then they don’t really care about me.”
"And yeah that’s what makes me think twice about doing the Bachelorette, like, it’s just too upsetting.”
TARA PLEASE DO IT. Come on, guys. We gotta convince her.
Onto the reality index!
Realer than Osher feeling useless at this point in the season
Let’s start with something positive. Matty shirtless. Plus 1.
Tara’s all “I can see myself falling in love with you”. Not “I love you” or “I AM falling in love with you”. Yas, girl. You’re too good for his ass. Plus 2.
Matty forcing the women to declare their love for him, while offering no promises of his own is classic f**kboi behavior. Eh, we believe it. Plus 3.
Faker than Elise’s declaration of love for Matty
Obviously, given he broke Tara’s heart, we want to minus ALL THE POINTS tonight but we’re gonna try our best to be objective… Oh screw it. Minus 10.
Ooh a train. What a great date. Every time we hop on a (inevitably late) Sydney train we’re immediately in the mood for romance. Minus 1.
There is just no way Matty drew that picture of Laura. We all remember his earlier effort. Minus 2.
If Matty can’t appreciate this, he’s not even worth a moment of Tara’s time. Minus 1.
It was always going to happen like this once Matty dumped the BEST GIRL IN AUSTRALIA.
On tonight’s episode: who even cares, RIP Tara.
