ARIAs viewers left shocked by slip-ups on stage
Are they allowed to say that?!
For anyone watching the ARIAs on Wednesday night you might have been surprised to hear a few rogue F-bombs dropped by Jimmy Barnes, Kasey Chambers and Dean Lewis that were left uncensored – despite the fact the show is filmed in advance.
Jimmy accepted the ARIA for best soundtrack for documentary Working Class Boy and said:
“I would like to thank John Watson my manager, my beautiful wife, my darling kids and my siblings, John, Dot, Linda, Alan and Lisa who lived through the f**king life with me."
Kasey soon took to the stage and dropped an uncensored F-bomb while being inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame:
“I still have days where I look in the mirror and I go, am I not pretty enough?”
“But my answer now is, who gives a f**k, you know. I don’t really care.”
Nine also didn't alter the F-bomb in Lewis' 'Be Alright'.
Many viewers took to Twitter, wondering if it was allowed to drop an F-bomb before 8:30pm on TV
Bob Geldof managed to get in a fourth swear word while getting introduced by Keith Urban, but that was closer to 10pm and possibly more appropriate?
Looks like Nine is way more edgy than we thought!
