Ariana Grande And Big Sean Spark Rumours They're Back Together
Maybe she will end up with Sean?!
Ariana Grande and Big Sean have started rumours of a reunion between the pair after they were spotted leaving a Los Angeles recording studio together on Wednesday.
The pair seem to be on good terms after calling it quits in April 2015 after nine months of dating.
At the time of the split, they issued a joint statement which read:
"They both care deeply for each other and remain close friends. We kindly ask that the media respect their wish for privacy regarding this personal matter at this time."
A source told E! News at the time it was their busy schedules that were to blame:
"They made the decision to part ways because their conflicting touring schedules would keep them apart over the next year."
Another insider reiterated it was an amicable split:
"Ariana and Big Sean have had a great relationship and they are still very close friends and will remain in each others lives."
"It hasn't been easy though with both of their busy schedules lately and they know it's going to get even harder in the next few months. This was really difficult for them to publicly call it quits, but they thought it would be better this way, so people know there is no bad blood between them at all."
When Ariana released the video for 'Thank U, Next', she confirmed that this was the case with a subtle note about him in her Burn Book which read, "So cute so sweet," as well as, "Could still get it."
The song famously opens with the lyrics:
"Thought I'd end up with Sean / But he wasn't a match."
The singer revealed on The Zach Sang Show she sent it to him and he loved it:
"I had sent [the song] to Sean and he loved it. He loved it."
"It was very funny. He was like, 'Damn, I'm the first one, huh?' And I was like, 'I mean, you know, I went kind of in order.' He was very supportive, he loved it."
Considering how amicable the split was, we wouldn't be surprised if they were together again!
