These natural hot springs are the only place you need to be this summer

Peninsula Hot Springs near Melbourne is as dreamy in real life as the photos make it look

Only an hour and a half away from Melbourne CBD, Peninsula Hot Springs could not be more of an accessible summer weekend destination. The picturesque steamy outdoor baths are surrounded by rolling green hills, giving you the feel of being worlds away from your city life.

The first of its kind in Victoria, the Hot Springs uses natural thermal minerals in its pools and private baths to help guests relax in nature and connect with the “deep well of their being”. Oh, and did we mention there’s a cave pool, too? There's also a reflexology walk, sauna, and massaging thermal showers.

In fact, there's enough to keep you busy all weekendlong should you wish to spend two days there. The Hot Springs itself doesn’t offer overnight accommodation (yet!), but you can book a hotel and spa package through Ocean Blue Coastal Retreats, or a night’s stay at any quaint Mornington Peninsula Airbnb.

The day spa offers a Bath House for social, bring-a-friend experiences or there's the Spa Dreaming Centre if you're looking for some alone time. Hot tip: booking an evening-time bath will give you an off-peak price and sunset views.
