Fires

Firies have had a busy night at Hallet Cove. There were a few grass fires deliberately lit near places around Barramundi Drive at about 3am. Just as they were put out a house and car were torched nearby, so Police have been called in to check it out.

Easter already!

We're 6 days into 2008 and already Coles and Woolies are putting out their Easter Eggs. They'll start making Hot Cross Buns soon too but they're saying it's no different to usual.

Sharks

Looks like the Beach isn't the place to be right now. There were 4 different shark sightings around Henley Beach and Grange. Two sharks were spotted off the Grange Jetty late in the arvo.

Hot Dogs

Heaps of us are really loving the hot weather but our of pets might not be. Apparently loads of Aussie dogs have already copped heatstroke so vets want us to leave out plenty of fresh water and don't be an idiot and leave them in the car.

Travolta doc to watch Jett autopsy

A FAMILY doctor for John Travolta is in the Bahamas to observe the autopsy of the actor's teenage son, who died unexpectedly in the family's island holiday home.
